Promises Treatment Centers is in one of the most competitive geographical areas for treatment centers: Malibu, California. Promises created the Malibu Model℠ of treatment almost two decades ago. Since that time, many treatment centers have tried to replicate their success. This led to increased competition for both organic and paid positions. Despite the aggressive tactics of competitors, Promises’ traffic grew by 2015 to over 17x the traffic it had in 2009 when we began managing the site.
The Promises brand had suffered during the first decade of the 2000s. It became associated with celebrity scandals and was often mistakenly categorized as “easy” treatment that pampered high maintenance clients. Through a strong content and social media strategy, we rebuilt Promises’ reputation for clinical excellence and effective care.
